As an education platform of local housing development, the HKHS Exhibition Centre aims to provide experiential learning opportunities for the teaching of Liberal Studies. Through guided tours, exhibitions and interactive facilities such as The Stories of Our Rental Estates, 3D Communal Wall, a VR Experience of Elderly Housing and Housing Ladder in Kinect, the Exhibition Centre enhances students’ understandings of Hong Kong’s housing development, as well as HKHS’s mission and role as a “housing laboratory”. It is also hoped that students will be inspired to think about the housing issues in Hong Kong from various perspectives.
