28 students studying Gerontology at the Nethersole School of Nursing of The Chinese University of Hong Kong visited HKHS Exhibition Centre on 21 January 2020. Through interactive displays and narration, students gained understanding of the developments and elderly housing projects of the Hong Kong Housing Society (HKHS). Subsequently, the students were taken on a tour to Cheerful Court, one of the projects under Senior Citizen Residences Scheme in Ngau Tau Kok, to observe how HKHS helps elderly residents to “age in place” in our properties.
