The Hong Kong Housing Society (HKHS) collaborated with Fair Trade Hong Kong again to organise a tie-dye workshop for members of the HS Academy Alumni Club. The aim was to enable young people to incorporate the concept of sustainability into their daily lives. Participants had the opportunity to create their own handkerchiefs with personalised tie-dye patterns by recycling and upcycling used coffee grounds. To deepen their understanding of housing and sustainability, a visit to the HKHS Exhibition Centre was also arranged, where participants learned about the HKHS’s efforts in “Creating Homes for Sustainable Living”.
